Overview
Modify the configuration of an existing subscription or transactional offer.
:::tip At a Glance
Who is this for?
Marketing or monetization team members who need to update an existing offer — change its name, adjust the discount, extend the schedule, or tweak redemption settings.
When do I use this?
When an offer has already been created but needs changes — e.g. extending an expiration date, updating a promotion code, or changing the discount value.
What will happen?
The same wizard used to create the offer opens pre-filled with the current values. You can navigate to any step, make changes, and save.
:::
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in with a role that has monetization permissions
- The offer must already exist

Steps
Step 1: Open the offer
Navigate to the Offers section and find the offer you want to edit. Click it to open the edit view.
Step 2: Review and modify
The full wizard opens with all steps pre-populated from the saved offer:
- Subscription offers show all 6 steps (Type → Benefit → Redemption → Billing → Availability → Marketing)
- Transactional offers show all 3 steps (Content → Pricing → Availability)
You can click any step in the progress bar to jump directly to it — no need to step through sequentially.
:::warning Locked Fields
Some fields are locked once an offer has been saved. These fields appear greyed out and cannot be changed. See the table below for details.
:::
Step 3: Save
After making your changes, save the offer. Only modified values are updated.

Expected Behavior
- All steps are accessible immediately — the progress bar shows all steps as completed.
- Locked fields appear greyed out and are not interactive. For subscriptions, this includes the offer type, benefit values, billing periods, and redemption rules. For transactional offers, only the content selection is locked.
- The summary panel reflects the saved values on load, then updates as you make changes.
- Switching the offer type or redemption type is not possible in edit mode — those controls are disabled.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Fields appear empty in a step? → The offer may have been created before certain fields were available. Fill them in and save.
- Can't change the offer category? → Subscription and Transactional are separate categories. You cannot convert one to the other. Create a new offer of the desired category instead.
