Overview

This feature enables targeted splash pages or promotional pop-ups to be displayed to users across the web application based on their subscription status. Admins can configure which user segments see which offers, define appearance frequency, and specify the template and workflow for upgrade actions. The functionality is designed for maximum flexibility, relevance, and conversion optimization across Homepage, Game Page, VOD Detail, Series, Playlist, Articles, Category, and Account pages.

End User Experience

Splash Pop-Up Display:

  • When landing on an eligible page, the user receives an appropriate pop-up according to their segment ( free, subscribed etc.) and page configuration.

  • Each user state receives only the corresponding matching template; if dismissed or acted upon, the pop-up won’t reappear on other pages for the current frequency window.

Upgrade/Offer CTA Paths:

  • Monthly Subscribed: Upgrade CTA leads to annual/higher plans; if multiple, users are shown eligible options.

  • Annual Subscribed: Upgrade CTA leads to premium/higher-value plan; if multiple, user is shown only eligible upgrades.

  • Free (Guest): Upgrade CTA leads to checkout and registration/subscription flow.

  • Email Only: Upgrade CTA leads to checkout for paid plans.

  • Cancelled (no active plan): CTA leads to checkout for new subscription selection.

Best Practices

  • Personalize Offers: Tailor pop-up content, visuals, and CTA per user state for higher conversion and relevance.

  • Monitor Conversion Analytics: Track which pop-ups and offers drive upgrades and use this data to refine targeting or templates.

  • Coordinate with Marketing: Align messaging and timing of pop-ups with broader campaigns for maximum impact.

  • Test on All Pages: Ensure consistent display and correct dismissal logic across all configured pages and user scenarios.
