Overview

Manage brand assets by platform, including logos, placeholders, icons, background color (where supported), and resize actions for resizable slots.

:::tip At a Glance
Who is this for?

App CMS users who maintain logos, placeholders, icons, and other brand visuals.

When do I use this?

Use this when you need to replace an asset, pick an existing asset from the library, remove an asset, or run slot resize.

What will happen?

The selected slot updates and shows the new asset state after saving. On resizable slots, replacing or applying an image may require a follow-up resize before the update is fully applied.

Prerequisites

::: warning Permissions
Requires access to App CMS.
:::

  • If your org uses network-specific configuration, switch to the correct network before editing assets.
  • Upload New Assets visibility depends on your account's App CMS write access.

Steps

Step 1: Open Logo and Images

In the left navigation, go to App CMS and open Logo and Images.

Step 2: Pick a platform tab

Choose Global, Web, Mobile, or OTT to load the relevant asset slots.

Step 3: Update a slot asset

For each slot card, choose one of these actions:

  • Use existing from library
  • Replace with a new upload
  • Delete the current asset

You can also open Replace and select Use existing asset or Upload new file.

On resizable slots, replacing/uploading/applying an asset moves the slot into a resize-pending state.

Step 4: Use background color and complete resize (where available)

On slots that support these actions:

  • Use the color picker to set or clear background color.
  • Click Resize to generate the resized output for that slot and clear the pending state.
  • If you refresh before resizing, the previous resized image may still appear.

Step 5: Confirm the result

Watch the slot status badge and preview.

  • Saving indicates an in-progress update.
  • Resize required indicates the slot has a new source image that still needs resize.
  • Ready indicates the slot has a saved asset.
  • Missing indicates no current asset for that slot.

When Resize required is shown, the slot also displays inline guidance to run Resize.

Expected Behavior

  • Slot updates save per action and reflect directly in the card preview/state.
  • Asset Library supports search, selection, and apply.
  • For resizable slots, apply/upload actions show a resize warning and set the slot to Resize required.
  • Resize runs on supported slots, uses the selected background value when provided, and clears Resize required on success.
  • Loading and retry states appear in the Asset Library when the list is still loading or fails.

Edge Cases / Notes

  • Resize and color-picker actions are only available on supported slots.
  • Resize is disabled when a slot has no source image to process.
  • Some slots are video-oriented and may not show image-specific actions.
  • Resize required is cleared after successful resize, slot asset removal, or data refetch.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • Asset Library does not load
    Use Retry inside the dialog.
  • Resize button is disabled
    Confirm the slot supports resize and currently has a source image.
  • Slot shows Resize required after update
    This is expected for resizable slots. Run Resize to complete the update and clear the warning state.
  • You cannot see Upload New Assets
    Your account may not have App CMS write access.
