Overview
Remove a monetization model that is no longer needed.
:::tip At a Glance
Who is this for?
Monetization team members cleaning up unused or duplicate models.
When do I use this?
When a model is no longer needed — e.g. after consolidating models or retiring a monetization strategy.
What will happen?
The model is permanently deleted and removed from the models grid. It can no longer be assigned to plans.
:::
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in with a role that has monetization permissions.
- The model must already exist.

Steps
Step 1: Find the model
Navigate to Monetization → Models and locate the model you want to delete.
Step 2: Delete the model
Click the delete action on the model card. A confirmation dialog appears.
Step 3: Confirm deletion
Confirm that you want to permanently remove the model.
Expected Behavior
- The model is removed from the grid immediately after confirmation.
- Deletion is permanent — it cannot be undone.
Edge Cases / Notes
- Deleting a model that is currently assigned to plans may cause those plans to lose their model reference. Verify that no active plans depend on the model before deleting.
- If the model was set as default, no replacement default is assigned automatically. You may need to set a new default manually.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Plans lost their model reference? → Assign a new model to the affected plans. Go to each plan's edit view and update the model.
- Accidentally deleted the wrong model? → The deletion is permanent. Re-create the model with the same configuration.
