Overview
The Continue Watching Autoplay feature enhances user experience by resuming video or show playback from the last watched point, and—when enabled—automatically advancing to the next episode or related content upon completion. This ensures seamless viewing sessions, minimizing user effort to locate or start subsequent content, and supporting optimal engagement across mobile apps, web browsers, and connected TV (CTV) platforms.

End User Experience
For Mobile Apps & Web Browsers the system adapts its playback behavior based on whether the autoplay feature is enabled or disabled. The following outlines how content playback will function according to the current setting:
If Autoplay is Enabled:
Show/Series: Playback starts in the show detail page and continues until the episode finishes. Users can switch to full screen.
Video: Playback starts in the content detail page until completion. Full screen controls are available.
If the next available episode (for shows) or next related video is available, playback continues automatically; otherwise, the user is sent back to the show/content detail page.
If Autoplay is Disabled:
Show/Series or Video: Playback starts in full screen mode. Users may switch episodes or exit using player controls.
Post-playback of the current video, the user is sent back to the show/content detail page.
Best Practices
Enable Autoplay to create a frictionless, bingeable experience—especially for episodic or serialized content.
Test Across Platforms to ensure playback logic and tray settings perform consistently for mobile, web, and CTV users.
