Summary
This screen is the last part of the sign-up sequence. Users can perform the following actions which are configured from the Update Account module:
- Add mandatory user details, namely, their name, email address, phone number, and consent preferences. If you used an email address to sign up, you will be asked to provide your phone number when updating your account, and vice versa.
- Selecting your favorite team to personalize the experience on the Home Page
- Notification alerts

Creating an Update Account Page
From the Template Builder, create a User page with the title Update Account and the permalink as for example, "/update". Once you've created the page, add the VL Update Account module to the page.

Personalization > Name | Create a personalization area on the Account Update page. To do this, click the + ADD button. Provide a title (this is for internal reference). | |
Personalization > Type | From the options, select Team as the fetch strategy (recommended for the Sports platform). The other available options are Tag, Category, and Player. | |
Title & Description | Provide an internal title and description (optional). Example, User Management | |
Is Name Required? | If the user has signed up with an email address, you can enable this toggle to mandate the user to enter their name. | |
Is Email Required? | If the user has signed through their mobile number, then the Update Account screen can be configured to capture the Email ID. | |
Is Mobile Number Required? | Enable the toggle to capture user's mobile number. | |
Enable Notification and Alerts | Turn it on / off to show the “Enable notifications for your team” toggle button. End user flow When the user clicks the toggle button, a native notification pop-up screen will appear. If the user allows the native notification, notifications will be enabled on their device (mobile or web). If the user has not selected any teams in their personalization settings, notifications will be enabled for all teams by default. | |
Show Personalization Categories | Allow users to select their favorite teams on the Personalization page so that related content trays appear on the Home Page. | |
Brand | Use the color picker to define the color settings for various states on the screen. | |
Localization > Labels | Change any of the text in the (default) text elements. | |
Images | Add an image to the page. |
When you're ready, click Publish to publish the page to the frontend.
