Accessing the Game Page

Follow these steps to access the Game Page:

1. Open the App: Launch the ALT Cameras application on your device.

2. Log In: Enter your credentials to log into your account.

3. Navigate to the Homepage: Once logged in, you will be directed to the homepage.

4. Select a Game Event: Click on a game listed in the Live Preview or Schedule tray to access the detailed Game Page.

Understanding Game States

The Game Page features four primary states, each providing different content and functionalities. Understanding these states will enhance your navigation experience.

Default/No State

This state is displayed when there is no active game. It typically shows information leading up to the next scheduled game.

• Features:

  • Countdown Timer: Displays the time remaining until the next game starts.

  • Set Alerts: Users can choose to receive notifications for the upcoming game.

  • Buy Tickets: A link to purchase tickets via the Ticketmaster API.

  • Related Content: Highlights and videos curated from previous games.

  • Schedule: Displays a horizontal scroller of upcoming matches.

Pre-Game State

This state appears as the game approaches its start time, featuring live content and preparations.

• Features:

  • Pre-Game Live Sessions: Users can watch live commentary or analysis leading up to the game.

  • Set Alerts: Same functionality as in the Default state.

  • Buy Tickets: Option to purchase tickets remains available.

  • Stats Widgets: Displays relevant game statistics powered by the Sports Radar API.

  • Insights: Key moments and statistics related to the teams or players involved.

  • Related Content: Curated highlights and videos relevant to the upcoming game.

  • Schedule: Shows upcoming matches in a horizontal format.

Live Game State

This state is active during the ongoing game, providing real-time updates and interactions.

• Features:

  • Live Score: Displays the current score prominently on the screen.

  • Additional Feeds: Alternate broadcast feeds or highlight clips from the game, if available.

  • Horizontal Tray Configurations:

    • Stats: Detailed statistics of the game.

    • Insights: Important game moments and player performances.

    • Highlights: Clips showcasing pivotal moments in the live game.

Post-Game State

• Definition: This state occurs after the game concludes, summarizing the event and providing recaps.

• Features:

  • Post-Game Recaps: Summarizes the game, including key events and final scores.

  • Live Score: Displays the final score after the game ends.

  • Horizontal Tray Configurations:

    • Highlights: Clips of significant moments from the game.

    • Stats: Recap of game statistics.

    • Insights: Analysis of key moments and performances after the game.

Interacting with Content Trays

1. Viewing Content: Scroll through the content trays located below the video player to explore different options.

2. Selecting Content: Click on any content item (videos, stats, insights) to start playback or view details.

3. Setting Alerts:

   • In the Default and Pre-Game states, look for the option to set alerts.

   • Follow the prompts to receive notifications for game start times.
