The ability to add events to your local calendar enhances your viewing experience by allowing you to track upcoming games and their timings. This feature is accessible through the Schedule Tray and the Game Detail Page, making it easy for users to stay informed and organized.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:
User Account: An active account with the necessary access permissions.
Login Credentials: Your username and password for the tools you will be using.
Permissions: Ensure you have the right permissions to edit templates and settings within the AppCMS.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Log In to Tools
Open your preferred web browser.
Navigate to the tools login page.
Enter your username and password, then click Login.
Step 2: Access AppCMS
From the dashboard, find and click on AppCMS. This will direct you to the AppCMS management interface.
Step 3: Open Template Builder
In the AppCMS, locate and click on Template Builder.
This section allows you to customize the templates used for your application.
Step 4: Edit the Home Page Template
In the Pages section, search for Home Page.
Click on the Edit button next to the Home Page to open the editing interface.
Step 5: Configure Schedule Tray Settings
In the Home Page template editor, look for the Settings icon (usually a gear icon).
Click on the Settings icon to access the Schedule Tray settings.
Find the toggle labeled Show Add Event to Calendar Button.
Switch this toggle On to enable the calendar button for upcoming events.
Step 6: Add Calendar Text Information
Below the toggle, locate the field labeled Add Event to Calendar Text.
Enter descriptive text that will be displayed in the pop-up window when users click the calendar button.
Step 7: Configure Game Detail Page Settings
In the Pages section, search for Game Detail Page.
Click on the Settings icon for the Game Detail Page.
Ensure the Show Add Event to Calendar Button toggle is also switched On. (This is off by default, so you must enable it.)
Step 8: Localize Text for Game Detail Page
Under the Localization option, navigate to Labels.
Look for the following labels to configure:
Add Event Calendar to Text
Add Event Calendar to Text Button
Enter the appropriate localized text for these labels.
Step 9: Adding Events to Your Local Calendar
When viewing an upcoming event, locate the Add Event button.
Click on the Add Event button to see the following options:
Download (sync file)
Google Calendar
Yahoo Calendar
Office 365
Outlook
Choose an option to be redirected to the respective service's page (except for Download, which will initiate a file download).
Use the downloaded file to add the event to your local calendar application.

Upcoming Events Only: Ensure the game is not marked as "end" or completed to add events successfully.
