# Log in to the ViewLift Tools Platform

## Who is this User Guide for?

This guide is for administrators and contributing users of the ViewLift Tools Platform who are involved in managing the backend of a streaming service, from managing the CMS and payment options to content delivery and user management.

## About ViewLift Tools Platform

The [Tools Platform](https://tools.viewlift.com/) is a web-based user interface accessible through any web browser, with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox being the recommended option.

To access the Tools UI, you must have a Tools and know your credentials. To upload content to your CMS and/or change brand settings, you must have administrative privileges or be granted access to those modules by an Admin. For more information about user roles, refer to this [article](https://docs.viewlift.com/docs/admin).

Your project manager is your primary point of contact to request for Tools login username and password.

### Reset password or username

In case you forgot your password, enter your Tools username or email address associated with your Tools account in the **Email** field, and click **CONFIRM EMAIL**. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone number, and then continue to set a new password.
