# Facebook: Add callback URL for data deletion

If your apps and website support Facebook signup for users, then you must provide a “Data Deletion Callback URL” in your Facebook for Developers portal, according to the Facebook policy General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Note: Please contact ViewLift Support to get the Data Deletion Callback URL for your app.

To add the callback API for data deletion:

1. From your app's Facebook Developers Login, go to [App Dashboard](https://developers.facebook.com/apps/) > **Settings > Basic** page.

2. In the **User Data Deletion** field on the **Basic** page, select **Data Deletion Callback URL**, and provide the callback URL in the text field.

3. Users can remove the app by way of Facebook's **Apps and Websites settings** page, and then in the **View R****emoved App and Websites** section, click your app and request that their data be deleted.
