Prerequisites:

Before we begin, make sure you support the following video types:

1. LIVE
2. EPISODIC
3. VIDEO

NOTE: 

• Ensure you have uploaded the videos you want to include in the playlist. You can add any number of VIDEO, EPISODIC, and LIVE videos.
• Series isn't supported.

Creating a Video Playlist:

Accessing the Creation Tool:

• Navigate to the main menu and click on Content > Create New > Video Playlist.

• Click the CREATE button to initiate the playlist creation process.

Setting Playlist Details:

• Upon clicking CREATE, a new playlist page will be generated with default Title and Permalink.
• Customize the title, permalink, Description, and Author information (for internal tracking).

Adding Hero Image:

• Click on Manage Images to upload a hero image in the 16:9 aspect ratio.

Monetization Model:

• Set the Monetization Model as TVOD and attach the relevant TVOD Plan.

Category and Tags:

• Fill in the categories and tags to categorize and organize your playlist effectively.

SEO Optimization:

• Utilize the SEO section to enhance visibility in search results. Ensure to optimize the Video Playlist Title and Description.

Selecting Videos:

• In the Video Playlist drop-down, search for the desired videos using the Search text box.
• Drag and drop the videos into the left pane in the order you wish them to appear.

Publishing the Playlist:

• Once your playlist is ready, click the PUBLISH button to make it live on your site and apps.

Creating a Video Playlist Page:

Template Page Creation:

• After creating the Video Playlist, navigate to the Template Builder in the AppCMS module.

• Create a new template page and provide a New Page Name (e.g., Video Playlist Page).
• Select Video Playlist Template Page from the New Page Type (Developers Only) dropdown list.

Adding Modules:

• Click the Add Modules button and search for the Video Playlist Detail module.
• Add the module to the page and customize the messaging as desired.

Publishing the Page:

• Click Publish Page to finalize the creation of the template page.
