To display the chat module on a live game page:
Go to App CMS → Template → Edit template
Select the Game Page created in Template Builder
Locate the VL Game Detail Module
Add a Chat tab under the Live game state (This ensures the chat appears only when the game is live)

Once configured, the chat option automatically activates during the live state of the selected event.
End User Experience
All users can view the live chat feed on the game page.
When a user clicks on the “Type Your Message” field:
Logged-out users are prompted to sign up or log in.
Registered users can send messages, send emojis, react with limited pre-defined emojis, reply in threads, and flag or mute messages.
Emojis and reactions foster quick, lightweight engagement without cluttering the chat.
Best Practices
Keep chat moderation active by regularly reviewing flagged messages.
Communicate chat participation guidelines in advance for large live events.
Test the live chat integration before going live to ensure message sync and login flow work correctly.
