Overview
The Linear Promotion on Home Page feature turns the Featured Tray and VL Tray modules into powerful promotional tools for live linear channels. CMS admins can now curate EPG channels directly in homepage trays, enabling users to deep-link straight to specific channels on the EPG page—boosting discoverability, tune-in rates, and engagement without engineering changes. Display adapts dynamically by user state (guest vs. entitled), showing thumbnails/trailers for guests and live previews for authenticated users across web, mobile, and CTV platforms.
