Article summary

The Library tab serves as your ingestion point for uploading all your content categorized by content type. When you click on the Content module, you'll land right in your video collection. The Library tab is organized into several tabs. Each tab represents a content type, as shown below.

MarkerScreen Element and Description
ASearch box
Filter and search through your content by title (default filter), tag, or category. Depending on the content type tab you are currently on, if you are in the video tab, the search will filter only video objects, and that will also include Livestream objects, Episodic and Video Playlist objects.
BContent Type
The Video > All tab is where you'll land in the Content menu. To manage other content objects, just switch to the respective tab. You can organize, upload, publish, archive, and delete all your content, sorted by type.
CAdd New
Create content objects from the respective Add New button. Livestream objects are created from the Video LIVE tab.

DSort
Sort data by title in ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) order. Also sort by added date, published date, or updated date in ascending or descending order (Oldest to Newest or Newest to Oldest).

Open a content object detail page

When you hover over any list item, these icons will appear:

Settings gear icon: opens the content object page. Here you can add/edit content metadata, manage content lifecycle of the object, check renditions and mezz file, and more.

Eye icon: displays a preview of the asset in Web layout. This only works if an object is in published mode. Also, the DRM content usually won't play in the Preview player as it requires the invocation of DRM-related APIs which usually happens from the apps (player SDK or the app native players).
