Find Your App Version on App Stores

How to find your current app version on the following app platforms: 

Apple TV

• Go to the AppleTV Home Screen.
• Select the App Store icon.
• On the top right side of the page, select the search icon, and type your app name. 
• Then, select your app.
• Scroll down, and you will be able to see the version of the application.

Also, you can check the App version by going to the What's New screen for an app. To do this, open the app and select the What's New button. The version number will be displayed at the top of the screen.

Fire TV

• Press the Home button on your remote.
• Select the Settings icon.
• Scroll down and select Applications.
• Select the app you want to check the version for.
  The version number will be displayed next to the app name. 
• On Fire TV, apps auto-update, unless the user has turned off Automatic Updates or there are some permission changes in the updated release.

  

Roku

• Home> Navigate to your app > Press * from remote

Roku updates the app automatically in regular intervals (randomly every 24-36 hours). Whenever the player is powered on, the process of downloading and updating the app is done automatically without interpreting viewing.

Samsung Smart TV

• Press the Home button on the remote controller.
• Scroll left and select Apps from the home screen options. 
• Select the search icon in the upper-right corner to find your app.

  Select it from the results page to view its information, screenshots, etc.

Vizio Smart TV

Although there is no way to see App version on Vizio, to ensure you're on the latest version, simply remove and reinstall your app. See this article for more info.

LG TV

• Press the Home button on your remote.
• Select the LG Content Store icon.
• On the top right side of the page, select the search icon, and type your app name.
• Then, select your app.
• Scroll down, and you will be able to see the version of the application.

Jio TV

• Press the Home button on your remote.
• Select the JioTV icon.
• On the top right side of the page, select the hamburger icon.
• Select Settings.
• Scroll down and select About.
  The version number will be displayed under Version.

Android

• Open the Settings app.
• Scroll down and tap on Apps > Apps Management.
• Search and select the app you want to check the version for.
  The version number will be displayed below the app name on the top of the screen.

iPhone

• Go to the App Store.
• Tap on your Profile icon in the top right corner.
• Scroll down and tap on App Store purchases.
• Select the app you want to check the version for.
  The version number will be displayed next to the app name.
