Add EPG module | Create a FAST channel landing page
About EPG Guide
An Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is a program guide feature for linear TV and in the context of a streaming service, Fast channel is more like a linear television. This is because they are designed to be watched live.
To add an EPG guide to a Fast channel, you have to set up the EPG feature by integrating with an EPG provider. we currently support Amagi as our EPG XML provider. An EPG feed is an XML file that contains the metadata of the videos in a FAST channel, such as the video title, description, and run time. Once integrated, the EPG feed URL is automatically created in the Renditions and Mezz section on the content page. Copy the URL and add it to the corresponding Fast channel page, and publish both the Fast Channel page and the Modular page.
