If your subscription plan customer is signed up to a subscription plan and they wish to switch plans, here are the guidelines around it:
A user on a monthly plan is able to upgrade to an annual plan, this is supported.
A user on an existing annual plan that wishes to switch to a different annual plan cannot do so from the Android app or the Google Play Store. In this case, the user would need to cancel their existing subscription plan themselves -- and then we recommend that they sign up for the new plan of their choice on desktop web.
