:::tip At a Glance
Who is this for?
Monetization team members who need to update an existing plan — change pricing, adjust country variants, or extend the schedule.
When do I use this?
When a plan has already been created but needs changes — e.g. updating pricing for a country, extending availability, or adjusting the display order.
What will happen?
The plan form opens pre-filled with the current values. You can modify editable fields while locked fields remain greyed out.
:::
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in with a role that has monetization permissions.
- The plan must already exist.

Navigate to Monetization → Plans and locate the plan you want to edit. Use search or filters to find it.
Step 2: Open the plan
Click the plan row to open the detail/edit view.
Step 3: Make changes
The same accordion form used during creation opens with all sections pre-populated. Modify the fields you need to update.
Step 4: Save
Save the plan. Only modified values are updated.
What Can Be Changed?
| Field / Section | Editable? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Name & Description | ✅ Yes | Always editable |
| Display Order | ✅ Yes | Always editable |
| Identifier | ❌ Locked | Permanently set after first save |
| Plan Type | ❌ Locked | Cannot change between SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, TVE, FREE |
| Country Variants | ✅ Yes | Add, modify, or remove country-specific configurations |
| Feature Settings | ❌ Locked | All toggles and limits are locked after creation |
| Renewal Settings | ✅ Yes | Billing frequency and auto-renewal can be adjusted |
| Schedule | ✅ Yes | Start and end dates can be modified |
Expected Behavior
- All sections are accessible immediately.
- Locked fields appear greyed out and are not interactive.
- Feature settings are the most restrictive — the entire section is read-only after creation.
- Changes to country variants (like pricing updates) take effect after saving.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Can't change the plan type? → Plan types are permanent. Create a new plan with the desired type instead.
- Feature toggles are disabled? → Feature settings are locked after creation. This is by design to prevent disruption to existing subscribers.
- Identifier is greyed out? → Identifiers are permanent after the first save.
