Article summary

Protecting the privacy of young children is important to us. As a content publisher, you know your videos and user reach, and it is your legal responsibility to comply with COPPA and/or other applicable laws and tag your content correctly. Use our Content module to set the audience on the content using tags and categories to categorize the content accurately. If you want to age-restrict your entire site or only certain content, please add relevant messaging to your website. For example,

"ViewLift is designed to be of interest and service to users ages 13 and older. If you are under 13 years of age, you should not use this site."

ViewLift does not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 13 years of age. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons less than 13 years of age has been collected without verified parental consent, then ViewLift will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@viewlift.com.

To apply COPPA compliance on your site and apps, navigate to AppCMS > Settings > COMPLIANCE section. Toggle the COPPA flag on.

Note: When COPPA is enabled, Partner apps may not be able to complete the subscription via mobile. Therefore, for partner APIs it is disabled forever.
