Assign module-level access and configure contributor-specific visibility controls.

Use this while adding or editing a user whenever access scope must be set or changed.

Permission selections are saved as part of the user record.

- Open an Add User or Edit User form first.
Steps
Step 1: Open the User Permissions section
In the user form, go to User Permissions.

Step 2: Set module access levels
For each module row, choose the needed access level.
- Read
- Write
- None
For Content, Contributor is also available.
Step 3: Configure contributor settings (Content = Contributor)
When Content is set to Contributor, configure additional controls:
- Publish / Unpublish Access
- Archive Access
- Content Visibility Level
Step 4: Set allow lists when needed
Depending on visibility level and contributor setup, add users/emails in allow list fields.
Step 5: Save the user form
Finish by clicking Create User or Save Changes.
Expected Behavior
- Permission rows update based on your selection.
- Contributor-only controls appear only when Content is set to Contributor.
- Allow list fields support search and multi-select entries.
- Saved permissions are reflected the next time you open the user.
Edge Cases / Notes
- If Content is not set to Contributor, contributor-specific controls are hidden.
- Some visibility options expose additional allow-list controls.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Contributor controls are missing
Confirm Content is set to Contributor. - Allow list search returns no results
